Truth Date

A date has been set for my truth date. I have wrote it down sealed in an envelope and given it to one of my friends. They can open it if they want but its not going to help what im trying to acheive. I will be opening the envelope next monday in front of someone so they can verify the date as well. So wish me luck and i apologize to those i may upset, would you rather i lie?

Lies, White Lies and Exaggerations

So i have set myself a challenge. There will be one day next week (starting from today Sunday to Saturday), on one of those days i will not tell a single lie, a single white lie or exaggerate a situation. When i have done this day i will be reporting back on my blog the results.

This possibly sounds like im a serial liar but i have been brought up not to lie and generally be a good person, i have had my moments where i have been a proper dick but even then i can honestly say i wouldnt lie about something.

Why am i doing this? on my part its interesting to see how hard it is not to lie, whether its a blatant lie or a lie to stop from hurting someones feelings. No one likes being lied to but we do it to protect them. Now it will be interesting to see out of my friends who can take the honesty. There is a about 4 of my friends i can be completely honest to and i would like to think they are honest back to me.

Lying is deceitful, but being honest can get you in so much more trouble.
